Here are the best American forwards to ever play in MLS.

Chris Wondolowski

Chris Wondolowski is a current forward who has played for the San Jose Earthquakes during his MLS career. He won one MLS Golden Boot and was named to the MLS Best XI team twice. Wondolowski also played for the US Men’s National Team, making 42 appearances and scoring 11 goals.

Wondolowski began his youth soccer career playing for the De Anza Force youth club in California. He then moved on to play for Chico State University, where he played college soccer.

Jeff Cunningham

Jeff Cunningham is a former forward who played for several clubs in MLS, including the Columbus Crew and FC Dallas. He won one MLS Golden Boot and was named to the MLS Best XI team once.

Cunningham began his youth soccer career playing for the Northern Virginia Royals youth club. He then moved on to play for the University of South Florida, where he played college soccer.
